Moreover, is there anything in our life that we can boast about anyway?

We cannot boast about things we inherited. Our looks, our skin colors, our heights, our talents, our affluent parents, our races, our nationalities. They're all God's grace.

We cannot boast about things we think we achieved. Our knowledges, our wisdoms, our trophies or medals, our degrees, our professions, our successful careers, our luxuries, our harmonious families. They're all God's grace after all.

We cannot boast about the fact that we do not boast. It's again God's grace upon us.

The second we're boasting, we're lying to God, ourselves and others.
